In addition, QuoVadis also provides virtual solutions for clients with smaller hosting requirements. QuoVadis was an early champion of virtualisation technologies in the Bermuda market, with significant deployments of VMware for customers’ production environments as well as business continuity solutions.

Virtualization vs. Traditional Hosting Solutions

Virtual machines deliver better availability than dedicated servers because they can be migrated from one server to another with no downtime. Hosted virtual machines are also easier to scale without purchasing additional hardware, and more secure because each virtual machine is completely abstracted from the hardware and isolated from other virtual machines.

Hosted virtual machines are also superior to shared hosting or a virtual private server (VPS) because they get their own dedicated operating system and are fully isolated from other virtual machines on the server hardware.
