QuoVadis Supports Bermuda Community Groups
15 Feb 2006

QuoVadis is pleased to be a sponsor of the 2006 Bermuda End-to-End, the dominant charitable event in Bermuda’s busy social calendar.  Every year, the End-to-End attracts more than 2,000 participants who walk, run, bike, boat, and swim across the island, raising money for community projects benefiting young people, seniors, and environmental causes.

QuoVadis staff have been heavily involved in the management of the End-to-End for more than 10 years.  Now in its 19th year, the End-to-End has raised more than $2.25 million to date.  This year’s event will be held on May 6 and include more than a dozen routes for participants of varying interests and abilities.

In addition, QuoVadis is a sponsor of the Ross ‘Blackie’ Talbot Charity Classic, a major corporate golf tournament which raises funds for local charities benefiting young people, seniors, and health issues.  Now in its 14th year, the tournament has raised more than $1.4 million for charity.  This year's event will be held on April 3-4.

QuoVadis is also a supporter of the Ewan Sampson Scholarship Trust, which aims to provide information to young Bermudians about local employment opportunities in IT, and to provide scholarships in pursuing higher education in the field.

Finally, QuoVadis is proud to sponsor the Devonshire Cougars Under-18 Youth Team for the 2005-2006 season of Bermuda soccer.  At mid-season, the team is ranked fourth in the league and has several players selected for both the National Under-23 team trials and the league all-star game.

The team is the youth wing of the Devonshire Cougars club, whose Premier Division team won both the League Championship and Friendship Trophy in the 2004-2005 season.

QuoVadis employee Mark Steede serves as head coach for the Cougars Under-18 team.  He also plays forward for the Cougars Premier team and was a member of the 2004-2005 championship team.
