QuoVadis Experiences Rapid Growth in Swiss Market
21 Nov 2006

QuoVadis has experienced rapid growth in the Swiss market since gaining accreditation as a ZertES Qualified Certification Service Provider in May, 2006.

Zurich-based affiliate QuoVadis Trustlink Schweiz AG compliments QuoVadis’ established international operations with specific knowledge of the Swiss market, enabling the company to quickly become a leading regional provider of public key infrastructure (PKI) and digital signature solutions.

With its ZertES accreditation and proven technology, QuoVadis provides specific benefits to clients seeking to conduct legally recognized electronic transactions.

The Swiss Federal Tax Administration has placed QuoVadis on its list of allowed providers to support electronic invoicing by Swiss companies in compliance with local VAT (value added tax) laws.  Companies use QuoVadis ElDI-v certificates to protect the integrity of their electronic records, creating efficiency in their customer interactions and faster turnaround for VAT refunds from the tax authorities.

In addition, working with software partners in the document management and content management sector, QuoVadis has found success enabling companies to comply with laws and regulations for secure electronic archiving.

In recent months, working with partner Adeon AG, QuoVadis has been deployed in more than a dozen electronic archiving projects with customers including Brauerei Eichhof (a large regional brewery), St. Gallische Psychiatrischen Dienste (a regional medical facility), and Migros (the largest Swiss retailer).

Finally, QuoVadis certificates are being deployed in a wide range of other projects including for website authentication and encryption, secure email, and access control to networks.
